How to Setup your Mail Client Program (Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Etc)

This picture shows you how to set your mail client username and password and for SMTP authentication.
Additional examples and instructions on how to set up SMTP authentication for the most common mail clients can be found below
To send or receive mail on mail client programs, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc. you will need the following settings:

POP3 = mail.yourdomain.com
(this is for your incoming mail)

SMTP = mail.yourdomain.com
(this is for your outgoing mail) *

User = user@yourdomain.com
(user must be in this format examlple: jdoe@ecorporateshop.com)

Password = your password

* Please note that for security reasons, our SMTP servers do not allow public relaying.  Therefore, any mail being routed through our server must contain your domain name.
Example:  jdoe@yourdomain.com will be relayed, but jdoe@someotherdomain.com will not.

ALL mail clients also need to use SMTP (outgoing mail) authentication to send mail through our servers. This means that our servers will need to authenticate you as a user on the system to send mail out, just as it needed to authenticate you when you receive it.  The user name and password will be identical to the one you have been using to receive your mail (POP3).
